With Noraini from Gurun, together we took Business Management

Collection of Convo robe, Saturday 2nd June, 6pm. Arrive at hotel 4.30pm depart 8.30am from KL. Massive traffic congestion, three accidents, the 2nd-two sibling rode high power motorbike were died, came out on the news paper the next day, pictures exactly what we witness! Al-Fatihah and may they rest in peace and forgiven by Allah. The young sibling was underage boy, may Allah grant them Jannah

Fresh sunday morning 7.20am on the way to Dewan Mas
photo for the memory of this beautiful landscape UUM, Sintok. Perhaps that was the first and the last entering the campus.
Just came out from Dewan Mas, everybody smiling, satisfied-Alhamdulillah hirabbil alamin, thank you for giving me this opportunity, to complete, to achieve, to fulfill my desire that never ends since after STPM, all the praises only to Allah. Ceremony ended before 2pm with du'a. The crowd was superb, everyone waiting for the graduates, family photo, group photo was everywhere. Subhanallah! Thank you Allah

Stop for a snap on the way to Padang Besar, Sat after convo at about 5.30pm, Allah granted us a very clean, serene & wonderful scenery to view along the highway from Changlun, not the N&S highway, it's a new highway, only few cars passes. Thank you Allah, thank you.

Masjid Alor Setar, the city trade mark

Menara Alor Setar, RM7 for adult entry and RM3 below 12. The gifts items were reasonable prices, toilet clean, we could see the whole Alor Setar and did asked the shops assistant to show us the way to go to most of places. They're very helpful and nice hearing their dialect and easy to imitate, Alhamdulillah

We were watching the kids on playground when Amir came to snap this. Thank you abang for all your help, your time, your support, your understanding, your never ending patience....many-many thanks to Allah. Thank you for giving him to me, thank you...Subhanakarabbi subhanak...

We visited all places, National Museum-snake show, Balai Seni, etc etc...but then...too tired to continue, too short time, too many places to visit.

Missing this green & fertile paddy field at Kampung Ganding. Paddy field is everywhere in Kedah suitable to be touted as the rice bowl of the state. We love Kedah people, they're polite & helpful

Before Ice Age! Alor Setar has their own Science Center, we experience some surprises here.

Mind Test section in the Science Center - the kids really enjoyed, well don't waste the time n money, make it the fullest

Inside Dewan Mas - 1st half time. Our chair, me 0277 and Kali 0276 always switch, makes us alert to swop especially before came out on the stage, Alhamdulillah they're calling the right name - can't wait to get the 3 photos from UUM official photographers

Concentrating, first time in life gathered in large lecture hall, march to enter Dewan Mas accompanied by gamelan scourge as background music. When everyone entered, still standing, the sound of gong indicate the arrival of all the dean and vice-chancelor. They emerge from the back entrance, it was awesome, some of them smiled to us and we sit only after they sit. Ceremony open by Al-Quran recitation from UUM qari, very nice reading, the hall was silence in courteous and appreciation, every heart was touch & sooth by the ayats, Allah hu akbar, I can't stop my tears. " Allah had put in every verse of the Koran a healing power" imagine! then the Vice-Chancelor Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak
began his speech and officially began the ceremony.

We really love the UUM huge area, it's very green, clean, fresh, wanted to sit on the grass...very sweet memories.

One of the photos, beautiful scenery from Changlun to Padang Besar, the live experience was picturesque - MashaAllah! We slowdown did not wanted it to pass n gone. Sometimes Allah only give us one chance, the next time wont be the same. Alhamdulillah...thank you for giving us those chances. Muhammad SAW the messenger though us to make  du'a during musafir every time passes new area or kampung, every time we see mountain and cloud - May Allah granted the whole kampung rahmah dan goodness

Padang Besar - most of the shops were closed, we were late but had to grasp that only free times before heading to Alor Setar the next day Monday

Unforgetable and delicious pulut mangga

The taste of the durian was superb! The taste of the santan also different! Asked for extra durian -they said finished! It's 6pm++ not worth it to open new durian
If only she knows we will not come again...sob..

invisible!

Museum Padi - very nice!

Dataran Alor Setar, opposite Masjid Negeri, just cross the road to Balai Adat

High tide, strong wind - Kuala Kedah, look at the water

Manage to stop for about 30mins at Simpang Tiga, Kota Sarang Semut, Jelapang on the way back to KL, Tuesday 5th- Bidi's father on the photo. He jolt young coconuts for us, a life time experience for the kids - they have no kampung :)

We manage to solat at Masjid Al-Bukhari, walking from masjid to eat at Souq Bukhari crossing the muslim cemetery, bought Cd's, few personel items too. The whole land bought by Kedah native Malay millionaire Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary. His children schooling at my working place Garden International School. Syarifah Sofia yr13 and Syed Danial yr11 in their final year. Leaving Syarifah Sonia, Syed Muhammad, twin Syarifah Rania and Syarifah Rokiah to continue. They are well behave and excellent students.
Wonderful convo cum family holiday
